A network of 5,000 friends

Alumni Rui - Residenze Universitarie Internazionali

The Rui Alumni Association was founded in 2015 with the aim of bringing together former residents and friends of the Colleges of the Rui Foundation, nurturing a bond that began during their years in residence — a bond built on dialogue, personal growth and shared experiences that continue over time.

Being part of Rui Alumni means belonging to a community of people who, despite living in different cities and countries and working across a wide range of professional fields, share an experience that has left a meaningful mark on their personal journey.

Over more than 60 years of the Rui Foundation’s history, more than 5,000 students have lived this experience. Today, our community is an international network spanning over 50 countries worldwide: a wealth of people, stories and relationships that continues to grow and flourish year after year.

Alumni all over the world

Keep on growing

The Rui Alumni Association promotes meetings, events and educational initiatives designed to continue growing together, fostering genuine relationships and creating new opportunities for exchange and connection.

As a member of Rui Alumni, you can once again experience the atmosphere of residential life through initiatives such as Welcome Alumni, residence dinners, networking aperitifs, trips and excursions, and the traditional gathering held every year on June 26th.

You can take part in cultural activities regularly organized to explore local areas and discover their historical and artistic heritage; attend professional development initiatives such as the Breakfast Speech, a valuable opportunity for dialogue and exchange with leading professionals; and continue the educational journey begun during your years in residence by joining the many in-person and online initiatives promoted by the Rui Foundation.

At the heart of this educational experience is the mentoring program: a senior Alumnus puts his or her experience at the service of a junior Alumnus. An opportunity to challenge yourself either by growing personally or by helping others grow — through a one-to-one relationship built on the same trust experienced during residential life.

An alliance for growth

Alumni are always welcome back in residence.

You can contribute to the education and development of younger students by sharing your professional and personal experience through enriching tertulias and structured meetings within the educational program, while also supporting the talent of new generations of students through financial contributions.

Rui Alumni: an alliance for growth.

Support from one day up to an entire year of residence, helping to cover accommodation fees for 20 university students with an ISEE below €35,000, and giving them the opportunity to live the same unique experience that once shaped your own journey
